CHALLENGE
Help clients(Life & Living Co.) envision how to create sustainable fish local industry via design and technology
POTENTIAL
A digital platform that reflects the social, technological and sustainable perspectives of Ang Sila fish industry
How might we design the future for the sustainable fish industry in AngSila, Thailand?
Ang Sila, located on the east coast of Thailand Gulf, will be the central development district with EEC(Eastern Economic Corridor). Confronting the fact of increasing population and tourism, the fishery needs to be transferred to another higher level. Current the transaction between fisherman and customers are influenced by middlemen, which make the whole supply chain not transparent and the fish freshness is gradually becoming a serious issue in AngSila.
FISHARE, trying to render the problem from the perspective of optimizing local logistics and supply chain to help fishermen connect with the bigger markets and establish a digital platform to help with the sustainable fish industry. The goal is to build a transparent fish supply chain from sea to table and provide customers with better seafood choices.
